At a recent book launch event for nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s latest release, The Commonsense Diet, Kareena opened up about her approach to aging. She shared that, for her, age is just a number and emphasized her desire to remain active well into her later years. “I want to work all my life. Even at 75, I want to be able to move freely and pick up my grandchildren,” she expressed.

While many celebrities opt for surgical procedures to maintain a youthful appearance, the Jaane Jaan actress prefers a more natural approach. She revealed that for her, staying youthful isn’t about external treatments but about nourishing her body from within.

Discussing her lifestyle choices, Kareena credited simple, wholesome habits for keeping her skin and overall health in check. She includes ghee in her diet, enjoys traditional meals like khichdi, engages in light weight training for muscle strength, walks regularly, and practices Surya Namaskars. Instead of turning to skin treatments, she believes in maintaining a balanced diet and an active lifestyle.

Reflecting on her relationship with food, Kareena shared how it has evolved over the years. She recalled being on the heavier side in her younger days and admitted that, as a teenager, she would often reach for junk food like chips without a second thought. However, over the past 10–15 years, she has found comfort in returning to traditional, homemade meals.

“It’s my comfort food. If I don’t eat khichdi for three days, I start craving it,” said the Buckingham Murders actress, highlighting her deep appreciation for simple, nourishing food.

With a balanced approach to health and beauty, Kareena Kapoor Khan continues to set an example of embracing natural aging while prioritizing well-being over societal beauty norms.
